On October 4, 2021, Marat Shoranov, the first vice minister of health, revealed that the Pfizer vaccine is expected to come to Kazakhstan by the middle of this month.

As the health official noted, Kazakhstan is going to receive the Pfizer vaccine next week.

The country’s health system plans to use that vaccine for children 12 and above if their parents have no objections and for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
